Christmas

I am so excited that the Christmas season is approaching. Now is the time to book your photo session. Through October and November, I will be booking appointments, Tues, Wed and Thurs, around 5pm. This is my classic session. We will plan a unique location and idea based on a collaboration of your ideas and mine. I am also available some Saturdays and Sundays through the next two months for custom photo sessions. I am a custom photographer by nature and love to take plenty of time with each family to guarantee a fun and relaxed time for all. Refer to my photography website for current pricing. Please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your session.
Also, for the sake of experimentation, I will be holding my own Super Saturday. Want to get a free session with erinTphotography? Next Saturday, October 11th from 2pm - 5:30pm here in Riverside. Ten families will get a free session, first come, first served. WooHoo! I am so excited about this. Basically I need these families to model for my Christmas advertising, etc. The appointments will only last for 1/2 an hour and do not include individual headshots of each family member, unless time permits. I am looking primarily to get a great shot of your family. The time slots start at 2pm and are every half hour until 5:30pm, which is the last time slot. You will need to sign a model release, which allows me to use your photographs for advertising, etc. To thank you for your time, I will send you a free 5x7 from our session. You will also be able to purchase prints, christmas cards, and/or a CD of your images. So how do you sign up? Simply reply in the comments section below with your preferred time slot!
I am considering doing another Super Saturday at the beach, based on requests. So please leave a comment below if you are interested in family beach photos.

Scott and Jennifer

So I am computer illiterate. I love taking photographs but not POSTING them on my blog. So bare with me, I can't seem to figure out how to resize, etc. and keep the pixels looking right. I gave it my best shot but these web images seem to be a little screwie, unlike the originals. I am just still trying to figure out how to frame my images and add my logo, etc.
I have no idea why I am telling you, hopefully it isn't noticeable to the non photographer eye, and you all are just LOVING these images as much as I do.
Scott and Jennifer were sealed together in the Redlands, CA Temple, it is a sacrad ceremony, so photographers are not allowed inside. But we all anticipated their arrival. They had many family and friends their to greet them.

There was certainly joy and happiness shared amongst all the friends and family, I especially enjoyed this one of the girls, being, well girls!

We walked the beautiful temple grounds and these are some of my favorites.

I had already left but hid behind a tree to capture these images
(stop laughing at that Scott and Jen)...

Next we headed over to the park for Scott and Jennifer to spend some time together, just the two of them. This is where I really got to see them interact with one another, I was off hiking to the other side of the lake to get these, so they really didn't notice me. Then I wanted to take a few posed pictures, so I was totally yelling across the lake and everyone was starring....
who cares, right?

I love this one of Jen and her lashes, so beautiful!!!

This one really wasn't staged,...well I had just taken a picture of them kissing which I requested, but then as I was recomposing, they looked at eachother, so sweetly and he kissed her on the nose...I love it!

Then we headed to the reception, where a fun time was had by all.

Sneak Peek

Last Saturday I spent with an amazing couple. Scott and Jenn were married in the Redlands, CA Temple. I already told them this, but they have this undeniable respect for eachother. Of course it is obvious that they are twitterpated in love, but it is more noticeable that they have a deep, deep genuine concern, caring, and respect for one another. It is like what you see at a 50 year wedding anniversary party; maturity, respect, and love....(minus the wrinkles and pacemaker)!
I have been sick since Sunday, so here is just one, yeah, one, sneak peek picture from the wedding. More to come soon, I promise.

Fun Times

So what do you blog about? You can find out what you talk about by going to http://wordle.net/ and giving them your blog URL address. Then the calculate what words you use most, etc. and it makes this fun image!
Try it and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Okay, so I know that this is suppose to be a blog about photography, but I guess I still talk about my kids a lot and spiderman, what's up with that one?

Moms Love It, Kids Too...

Yeah, yeah, so I was trying to get my kids to eat healthier snacks after school, so I tried this one and it worked like a charm! I just used some toothpicks and added little sandwiches to some, grapes to the other. I realize I am not inventing some new fabulous award winning recipe, but it is always nice to see inspiring ideas that work for others...this one works, trust! I dare you to try it and leave a comment about it. Your kids will think you are so crafty!

Fishing for Fun

Seriously, we went fishing last week, FOR FUN! I mean literally...the kids all have these Spiderman and Dora fishing poles with rubber fish attached to the end of the string. So you know, we told them, reel it in..."You caught a fish, yeah!" It was fun to spend time with cousins...the Records and the Garricks. The kids did see a dead fish in the water, so Brock proudly scooped it up and said with a smirk, "Look mom, I caught a fish, a big one." Thanks to the Garricks for a delicous dinner afterwards.
