The sun'll come out tomorrow...

I often break out into song when I start a blogging. Blogging is a lot of work so I must be really excited to complete another post. Well the weather has been cloudy and I LOVE it! It makes for great photos and living here in SoCal, I always know that "The sun'll come out tomorrow"! Plus this lovely young woman is "Annie"...how can I not think of that song! BLOG LOVE

I know you guys must be thirsty for a post...anyone listening out there? Well I doubt it but just in case you are checking in for some cool photos...YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT (a little longer)! I am bogged down right now, it is crunch time for me. I keep thinking the busy Christmas Season is almost over but it keeps going and going. AND I LOVE IT! I keep thinking I can't wait til it slows down in January, and at the same time, I don't want it to. I am having so much fun photographing families, seniors, children and another wedding next week. This has been and continues to be an exciting adventure for me. With all of that, it is Jake's 34th Birthday next week, Brock's 8th Birthday a couple days before Christmas, which means a Baptism to plan and I still haven't done my stinkin' Christmas Cards. Picture Perfect

Okay besides this family being picture perfect, I have to tell you all a little secret. After I torture Dad with taking photographs for at least an hour, my favorite part is when I tell him he gets to makeout with his wife now, so I can take some pictures of them. Sometimes I get blank stares, sometimes I get a nice little peck on the lips (well I don't, but his wife does), and sometimes I hit the jackpot. I love it when the couple will do whatever I say. TRUST THE PHOTOGRAPHER! So between some steamy kiss pictures (not to be disclosed on my blog), I was able to capture these sweet moments between husband and wife.

Green with Envy

I took modeling shots for these beautiful girls several weeks ago. But I am so glad I got a chance to do a session for the whole family. It was a real quick session, as we feared the rain. And sure enough...5 minutes after we were done, it was coming down pretty heavy! I love these pictures, they are just screaming Christmas Time!!!

Gorgeousness

Is that a word? Well I would love to use it to describe my little girl, Karah. I know this is a total moment of bragging. I am not sure if I am bragging that she is so cute, that I took such a cute picture, or that I am finally posting a picture of one of my children. I have noticed that I don't take their pictures very much, and if I do, Karah is the first to scowl at me, like I am the paparrazi. But thanks to my sister Bonnie and her funny faces, she was able to get some smiles out of my little diva. And just to humble myself, and ruin the picture for you, she pooped green poop on the hardwood floors today and Jake took a picture of that...should I share? Ahhh, goodnight!

Beautiful Boys

This photo shoot was one of my favorites. Mom and Dad are very good looking and these beautiful boys were a delight. The littlest guy has curly long blonde hair just like my Nate did when he was younger. I can't get enough of it. And big brother was throwin' poses at me left and right, a natural for sure. I am sure Dad, as most are, wasn't thrilled about spending nearly two hours with me photographing him and his family, but he was a trooper. And because of it, I was able to get some really sweet moments with him and his family!!!
